The person behind Challenger Bookkeeping. 

 

I have been in the bookkeeping world for 8 years and my passion for making sense of numbers has only grown.  I know having a love for numbers isn’t for everyone, but that’s why bookkeeping is the perfect job for me.  I worked with a national public accounting firm for several years, and while I loved what I did, I was missing the client interaction. I wanted to talk to my clients more than once a month and wanted to understand their drive for what they did.  After having my kids, I decided the timing was as good as it was going to get to create the business I always dreamt of. 

 

Growing up in Peterborough, I would often go down to my family's business and watch my dad working. I understand the importance of focusing on your business but also wanting to enjoy your free time at the end of the day.  Having a bookkeeper that you trust, will take off the stress of having to do it alone.  

 

My family and I continue to live in Peterborough and love spending our time outdoors and try to get away as often as possible. When I’m not spending time on my clients’ books, you will find us relaxing at the family cottage or working on my husband's next DIY project.
